Door Supervisor Refresher Course
Renew your SIA Door Supervisor licence. Our Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (Refresher) is for existing SIA Door Supervisors who need to renew their licence and stay up to date with current industry standards. Since 1 April 2025, the SIA requires every Door Supervisor to hold this refresher qualification before they can renew their licence, so that you can continue working legally and confidently in the private security industry.
Why take the refresher?
As a licensed professional, you are responsible for public safety and for working within the law. The refresher course makes sure you are prepared for today’s security challenges, including:
- Up-to-date terror threat awareness and how to respond
- Refreshed physical intervention techniques, with a focus on safety and reducing risk
- Keeping vulnerable people safe, including protecting the public from drink spiking
- Current search procedures and good practice
Completing the course allows you to renew your licence, and helps you improve your confidence, professionalism and employability.
