What we collect

Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the course you are asking about and your message.
E-learning and mock exams: your name, email address and phone number; for some courses also your date of birth, SIA licence number, employer, course dates and reason for training; your answers, marks, results, signed declarations and certificate numbers.
Courses: the information you give us when you book and take a course, as explained when you enrol.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and give you information about courses you ask about.
To deliver your training, record your progress and results, and issue certificates.
To meet the requirements of awarding organisations (such as Pearson) and the Security Industry Authority for licence-linked training, including quality assurance and appeals.

Our lawful bases are: taking steps at your request before a contract and performing our contract with you; our legitimate interests in running and quality-assuring our training; and legal obligations that apply to us. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Email delivery: messages, results and certificates from this website are sent to our inbox through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-to-email service. It may process this information outside the UK.
Awarding organisations and regulators: such as Pearson, where needed to register you, award a qualification, or carry out quality assurance or an appeal.
Website services: this website loads fonts from Google Fonts and a PDF tool from cdnjs (Cloudflare). These services receive your device's IP address so they can deliver the files.

Information saved on your device

The e-learning courses and mock exams save your progress and details in your web browser (local storage) on your own device, so you can carry on where you left off. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can remove this information at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need to deal with them. We keep learner, assessment and certificate records for as long as our awarding organisations and regulators require; appeal records are kept for at least 5 years.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected, to have it deleted or its use restricted, to object to how we use it, and to ask for it to be moved to another organisation. Some rights depend on the circumstances. To make a request, email info@rexeleducation.co.uk.
