ACT e-learning on ProtectUK

Complete the two free counter-terrorism courses, ACT Awareness and ACT Security, and download both certificates.

How to complete ACT Awareness and ACT Security

  1. Register for a free account at protectuk.police.uk/user/register. ProtectUK emails you a link to set your password; check your junk or spam folder.
  2. Log in at protectuk.police.uk/user/login and open the e-learning catalogue.
  3. Subscribe to ACT Awareness e-learning and complete every module.
  4. Subscribe to ACT Security e-learning and complete every module.
  5. Download each certificate: open your user profile, select Certificate received, then Download.
  6. Email both certificates to info@rexeleducation.co.uk, or print them and attach them to your workbook. Fill in the ACT record page in your workbook.

Important

  • Your trainer must see both certificates. Each course must have been completed within the last 12 months.
  • Use a computer or tablet if you can. You can pause a course and come back to it later.
  • Complete the courses yourself, under your own name.
  • Study Unit 1 LO3 (terror threats) in your Self-Study Guide alongside the ACT courses.

Before your classroom session

What to hand in

  • Your completed Self-Study Workbook, answered in your own words, with the declaration signed. If you complete it online, it is sent to us when you submit it.
  • Your ACT Awareness and ACT Security certificates.
  • Your photo ID on the day.

If you use the paper workbook, bring it to your course or email a clear scan with your certificates to info@rexeleducation.co.uk.
